The wall down the middle of your nose, called the nasal septum, separates the left and right sides of your nasal airway. The yellow part is flexible cartilage (the quadrangular cartilage). The blue part is thin bone (the perpendicular plate of the ethmoid bone). The purple part is thicker bone (the vomer bone).
